4HO-MiPT
4HO-MiPT FUMARATE, commonly referred to as Miprocin, is a novel psychedelic compound belonging to the tryptamine class. When ingested, it produces effects reminiscent of psilocybin, often resulting in a psychedelic experience characterized by heightened sensory perception and introspection. 4-HO-MiPT is part of a broader group of substituted tryptamines, which also includes compounds like 4-AcO-DMT, 4-HO-MET, and 4-HO-DiPT, all of which are considered to elicit variations of the core psychedelic effects associated with psilocin, the active compound in psilocybin.
Although relatively uncommon, 4-HO-MiPT has a brief history of human use. Notably, in 1979, the renowned chemist Alexander Shulgin evaluated its effects on human subjects, reporting that a dose of 12 mg produced a profoundly insightful and highly erotic experience. This evaluation is documented in Shulgin's 1997 book, TiHKAL. Both Shulgin's experiments and subsequent anecdotal accounts suggest that 4-HO-MiPT shares a similar activity profile with psilocin, making it a compelling subject of interest in the study of psychedelics.
