DiCaine
DiCaine is an orally active dopamine reuptake inhibitor (DRI) and a structural analog of DMC. While DMC induces sedation and dulling at higher doses due to Na+ blockade, we designed DiCaine to retain dopaminergic effects while minimizing this side effect. We selected DiCaine from approximately 10 DMC analogs that we made. Notably, this modification also results in reduced noradrenergic activity compared to DMC.
Dosage & Effects
50mg (Oral): Provides mood elevation with gentle waves of euphoria.
200mg (Oral): Delivers recreational dopamine-driven euphoria—smooth and subtle due to minimal adrenergic activity. For those seeking an added stimulant rush, combining it with an adrenergic compound (currently in development) is recommended.
Route of Administration (ROA)
Nasal absorption is inefficient, with prolonged residue. Oral administration is strongly preferred.
